THE STUDIO EXPERIENCE
You are invited into my Berlin studio for a full-day session.I will guide you through a series of shorter poses and drawings that gradually build toward a final, larger painting. The process is both structured, fun and intuitive. A balance of observation, conversation, and stillness.
There is time to pause, eat, and get to know each other. Food and drink are provided. You’re welcome to bring a friend/partner for your comfort and enjoyment.
The final artwork is developed during this shared experience, with size and format tailored to you.
THE VISIT EXPERIENCE
This offering mirrors the studio experience, but takes place in your own space. Whether that’s your home or another meaningful setting.Working within your environment introduces a different intimacy to the process, allowing the piece to be shaped not only by your presence but by the atmosphere around you.
An additional flat travel fee of €500 applies within Germany. International travel fees are arranged individually.
THE DISTANCE EXPERIENCE
For those who prefer a more flexible process.You provide reference images, videos, and any thoughts or direction you’d like to share. From this, I create the painting independently.
The work is then delivered to you: either shipped or hand-delivered when possible.

INFORMATION ON FINAL ARTWORK
The final artwork size is customisable. I can guide you depending on your needs. My standard size is 80 x 140cm.
All paintings are made on hand-stretched premium cotton canvas.
If you choose an in-person commssion all supplementary artwork made during the session also belongs to you.

See full artist website here.Hi I’m James Song, a British-born Chinese artist and tattooist based in Berlin. I have lived in the UK, Germany, Brazil and China.
Having tattooed over 100 clients I have developed a passion for serving 1 person deeply through my art. This involves learning about you, making you feel empowered, guiding you and co-creating art together.
I have fulfilled private commissions across Europe, North and South America. Outside of my commission work, I have exhibited in Paris, London, Berlin, Sao Paulo and New York. My collaborations include artwork and performances for Amavia Collection and Melia Hotels (featured in Vogue Spain). I speak publicly on the role of creativity in our technological age (see TEDx).
My art is inspired by fleeting moments, love and dance. My art celebrates you.
